About us
Who Paladin Defense Group Is
Personal protection solutions for individuals, families, and corporate clients through disciplined firearms training, CCW preparation, and professional protection consulting throughout Los Angeles County and the City of Los Angeles.
Why we exist
Capability, not comfort
Too much firearms instruction is designed to make people feel prepared without giving them the foundation needed to perform safely and consistently under pressure.
Paladin Defense Group was created to take a more disciplined approach. We begin with structured dry-fire development before live fire, integrate legal responsibility and decision-making throughout the process, and maintain standards that do not change according to experience level or confidence.
That approach can feel slower at the beginning, but it produces skills that are deliberate, repeatable, and built on a proper foundation. We are direct with clients about their current ability, the work still required, and whether they are ready to progress.
We are not here to provide a casual experience. We are here to build capability, discipline, and confidence that can hold under pressure. Train accordingly
What we stand for
Prepare. Protect. Provide.
These three principles describe the order in which responsible protection work actually happens.
Prepare
Readiness is built before it is needed. You do not rise to the occasion. You default to your last level of training, and deliberate preparation determines what that level will be.
Protect
The purpose of the skill is not the skill itself. It is the people and responsibilities behind it. Everything we teach is grounded in safe, lawful, and responsible protection.
Provide
We provide clear guidance about what to train, what equipment may be appropriate, what to avoid, and when additional preparation is required before moving forward.
Credentials
What stands behind the instruction
Clients should understand who is training them, what standards guide the instruction, and how safety is managed throughout the process.
POST-Certified Instructors
Instruction is delivered by firearms instructors with California POST training and law-enforcement instructional experience.
Active and Retired Law Enforcement
Clients are trained by professionals with practical experience in law enforcement, firearms instruction, safety, and decision-making under pressure.
A Private, Controlled Range
Training takes place in a controlled environment that supports focused instruction without the distractions common at a public range.
Structured Training Methodology
Training begins with a dry-fire foundation, progresses according to demonstrated ability, and incorporates safety, legal responsibility, and decision-making throughout.
Train accordingly
Ask us the hard questions
Ask about our credentials, our training method, and whether we are the right fit for your needs. We would rather give you a direct answer now than place you in training that is not appropriate for your goals.
