Step 01
Confirm the current requirements
Review the current eligibility, application, training, and documentation requirements directly with the agency responsible for issuing permits in your jurisdiction.
Structured firearms instruction and CCW preparation for applicants throughout Los Angeles County and the City of Los Angeles. Training focuses on safe handling, responsible decision-making, legal awareness, and the practical skills required to carry responsibly.
Receiving authorization to carry does not automatically mean that a person has developed the judgment, consistency, and practical ability required to carry responsibly. Licensing and readiness are related, but they are not the same thing.
Carrying a firearm in public brings significant legal, practical, and personal responsibility. The objective should not simply be to complete the required paperwork or pass a qualification. It should be to build safe, repeatable skills and understand when action is lawful, necessary, and appropriate.
Our preparation process develops safe handling through structured dry-fire practice before live fire, while integrating legal responsibility, situational judgment, and disciplined decision-making throughout.
We are here to build capability, discipline, and confidence that can hold under pressure. Responsible preparation comes before carrying
The application and licensing process is managed by the appropriate issuing agency. Our role is to provide preparation, instruction, and support so clients approach the required training and qualification stages with a sound foundation.

Foundational sessions develop safe handling, dry-fire discipline, presentation, movement, judgment, and decision-making before progressing to live fire.
Complete the applicable CCW training and qualification requirements when your instructor determines that you have the appropriate foundation to proceed.
Submit the required materials to the issuing agency and continue developing your skills. Responsible training should continue after the licensing process is complete.
Requirements vary and can change. Confirm current eligibility, application procedures, approved training requirements, fees, and documentation directly with the agency issuing permits in your jurisdiction. Paladin Defense Group does not issue CCW licenses, guarantee approval, or provide legal advice.
Depending on previous experience, safety, and demonstrated ability, we may recommend multiple foundational sessions before the formal CCW course or qualification stage.
The purpose is not to create unnecessary steps. It is to ensure that fundamental handling and decision-making skills are established before live-fire qualification and the additional responsibility of carrying in public.
