Personal Protection Consulting
Protection Consulting for Individuals and Families
An honest look at how you actually live, where that leaves you exposed, and what is worth doing about it. For people who want a clear answer rather than a sales pitch.
Where it starts
Your life, looked at properly
People who come to us are usually not in crisis. Something has just started to bother them. A neighbourhood that has changed, a job that has raised their profile, a family that has grown, or an incident close enough to make them look at their own situation for the first time.
Most of them have no idea whether they are in reasonable shape or not, and no way to find out. The industry that should be helping them is largely selling equipment and alarm contracts, neither of which begins with a question about how the person actually lives.
So that is where we begin. Where you live, how you move through your week, who is in your household, what you would do if something happened and who would do it with you. Then we tell you plainly what we see.
Most of what makes a household safer costs nothing. It is a habit, a route, a door, or a conversation nobody has had yet. Paladin Defense Group
What we look at
Four areas, in this order
The order matters. There is no point discussing what you would do in the worst case if the ordinary case is already leaving you exposed.
01
Home and residential readiness
The building, the approach to it, and the habits of the people inside. Most residential exposure is not dramatic. It is a door, a routine, a light, or a piece of equipment nobody in the house knows how to use.
- Entry points, approach and visibility
- Where a firearm is stored, and who can reach it
- What every member of the household knows to do
02
Routine and daily movement
Predictability is the exposure nobody thinks about. The same route, the same times, the same gym, the same parking space. It is almost always the cheapest thing to fix and the last thing anybody looks at.
- Patterns in your week that can be observed
- Transitions: the car park, the front door, the gate
- What you carry, and whether you can actually use it
03
Travel and unfamiliar ground
Away from home you lose everything you rely on without noticing: the layout you know, the neighbours who would notice, the exits you never had to look for. Preparation here is almost entirely mental.
- Planning movement in unfamiliar places
- What changes legally when you cross a line on a map
- Family separation and communication
04
Decision-making under pressure
The hardest question is never how. It is whether. Understanding when you may act, when you should not, and what the law will make of it afterwards is as important as any skill you can be taught on a range.
- Recognising a situation before it develops
- The legal boundary around acting at all
- What happens in the minutes and days afterwards
What you get
Findings you can act on. Not a shopping list.
You will not leave a consultation with a quote for equipment attached to it. You will leave knowing where you actually stand, what is worth changing, and in what order.
Some of it we can help with. Some of it you will do yourself in an afternoon and it will cost you nothing. That distinction is the whole value of the exercise.
- An honest assessment Where you are exposed, and where you are already in reasonable shape.
- Priorities, not a wish list What to address first, based on real likelihood rather than what is dramatic.
- What costs nothing The habits, routes and decisions that change your exposure without a single purchase.
- What training would actually fix And, just as importantly, what it would not.
- A straight answer about us Including whether you need us at all.
Consulting and training
Knowing the gap is half of it
A consultation tells you where you are exposed. Closing some of those gaps takes skill, and skill is built on a range over time, not decided in a meeting.
Where training is the right answer, we will say so and we will tell you honestly how much of it you need. Where it is not, we will not sell it to you.
Prepare accordingly
Start with a conversation
Tell us what has been bothering you. It does not need to be a crisis, and it does not need to be something you can articulate clearly yet. We will tell you honestly whether there is something here worth looking at properly.
